About Me

I am an aspiring marketing professional focused on brand strategy, digital marketing, and audience engagement. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the University of South Florida, I am building hands-on experience in content creation, analytics, social media strategy, and brand management through academic projects and real-world work.

My passion for marketing began early while helping my immigrant parents run our family-owned Chinese restaurant. Being involved in day-to-day operations showed me how small details—like menu design, promotions, and customer experience—could influence purchasing decisions and brand perception, sparking my interest in how businesses attract and retain customers.

That interest grew through my love of music, especially K-pop, where I became fascinated by how artists are transformed into global brands through storytelling, visuals, and fan engagement. Observing the marketing strategies behind groups like BLACKPINK inspired my interest in brand building, creative strategy, and meaningful audience connection.

Account Management

Managed social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, overseeing both business pages and passion projects. Experience includes posting concert content, unboxing art and music merchandise, and sharing original photography. For business accounts, I developed and executed campaigns, led food and product shoots, and promoted specials and events to drive engagement and brand awareness.

Marketing Highlights:

I love the alter-ego character concept—releasing comic books tied to each character really strengthens the era and brings the branding together, especially alongside the strategic release of singles before the album to build hype for her debut studio project. The different photo book versions that align with each character, paired with individual character introductions in cities around the world, create a cohesive and immersive global rollout.

What I’d Adjust:

Release the comic books ahead of the character introductions and include them as CD box sets.

I love attending concerts because they bring music and visual art together into one immersive experience. Seeing the artist perform live—through lighting, special effects, mic changes, choreography, and stage design—reveals their creativity in real time and creates a powerful connection between the artist and their fans.
